Sr Engineer

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

This role is contributing to the Motion business based at Bangalore, India:

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Strong expertise in AC & DC Drive Cabinet Engineering, including design, configuration, and system integration.
• Proficient in electrical design tools such as EPLAN 2026 and AutoCAD for schematic design and panel layout development.
• In-depth knowledge of IEC and IS standards applicable to AC/DC drive cabinet design and electrical panels.
• Proven experience in handling complex and large-scale cabinet engineering projects.
• Good working knowledge of SAP (engineering, BOM handling, and project coordination).
• Hands-on exposure to VFD panel testing, commissioning, and servicing will be considered an added advantage.

Qualifications for the role

• Strong knowledge on Drive Cabinet Engineering

• Knowledge of Testing service and commissioning or Drive cabinet

• Good experience on SAP systems

• EPLAN and Ado CAD

• Bachelor’s degree (BE/B.Tech) in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.

• 5–8 years of experience in AC & DC drive or electrical panel engineering.
