Role Overview

As a  Functional Consultant – MEIO, you would be responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting Multi-Echelon Inventory Optimization solutions on the o9 Digital Brain.

The role involves working with customers to understand their inventory planning and supply-chain processes, translate business requirements into o9 solutions, configure the platform, conduct testing, and support implementation/go-live.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional design and implementation of o9 MEIO solutions.
  
• Understand customer requirements around:
  • Inventory optimization
    
  • Safety stock
    
  • Service levels
    
  • Replenishment
    
  • Inventory targets
    
  • Lead times
    
  • Demand variability
    
  • Supply variability
    
  • Network inventory positioning
    
• Configure MEIO functionality within the o9 platform.
  
• Design multi-echelon inventory models across suppliers, plants, DCs, warehouses, and other nodes.
  
• Define inventory policies and optimization parameters.
  
• Configure and analyze service-level and inventory-cost trade-offs.
  
• Work with demand and supply data required for MEIO.
  
• Support scenario planning / what-if analysis for demand changes, supply disruptions, lead-time changes, etc.
  
• Analyze inventory performance and identify opportunities to reduce:
  • Excess inventory
    
  • Stock-outs
    
  • Working capital
    
  • Expediting costs
    
• Work with upstream/downstream planning processes such as Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Procurement, Production and Replenishment.
  
• Perform functional testing, SIT and UAT.
  
• Support data validation and integration testing.
  
• Prepare functional specifications, process flows, test cases and other project documentation.
  
• Work directly with customers/business stakeholders to explain the solution and resolve functional issues.
  
• Support deployment, go-live and post-production activities.
  
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to solution design and best practices
