About the Opportunity
A fast-growing retail and distribution company operating across India’s industrial corridors, we’re building the next generation of agile, customer-first store operations—powered by real-time inventory systems, tech-enabled logistics, and a culture of accountability. Based in Ankleshwar, our stores serve both B2B and B2C clients, requiring precision, speed, and service excellence at every touchpoint.


Role & Responsibilities



  • Supervise and assist in loading and unloading of materials, ensuring safe handling and proper documentation.

  • Monitor material receipts, issues, and dispatches, verifying against GRNs, challans, and issue slips.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/software and reconcile with physical stock.

  • Conduct regular stock audits to prevent mismatches and shortages.

  • Prepare daily/weekly inventory reports, including stock aging, reorder levels, and shortage alerts.

  • Ensure ISO-compliant record keeping: inward/outward registers, bin cards, and ledgers.

  • Coordinate with storekeepers, dispatch teams, and production departments for timely material availability.

  • Liaise with vendors and transporters to ensure smooth material movement and delivery.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate inventory records and reconciliation data.

  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency in store operations.


Skills & Qualifications



  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.

  • Ability to supervise material handling and ensure safety compliance.

  • Proficiency in ERP/inventory management software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar).

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.

  • Effective communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams.

  • Basic understanding of inventory control principles and stock management practices.


Experience


1–2 years of experience in store operations, inventory management, or material handling in a manufacturing or retail environment.


Additional Requirements



  • A hands-on professional with 1–2 years of store/warehouse experience, skilled in loading/unloading materials and ensuring safe handling practices.

  • Strong organizational ability and foundational knowledge of inventory management.

  • Good communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

  • Local candidate willing to commute daily to Ankleshwar.
