Job Title: Business Development Manager (BDM) – Papilio | Location: Jayanagar, Bangalore | Permanent, On-site, 6 day working

Product Focus: Papilio – Office Automation Tool

About the Role

We seek a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to spearhead the launch and growth of our innovative office automation product, Papilio. This role is ideal for a driven professional with a robust background in B2B/SaaS sales, team leadership, and strategy execution. As a BDM, you will play a pivotal role in expanding market presence, creating a high-performance sales team, and driving sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Expansion:
Lead the end-to-end business development efforts for Papilio, targeting mid-sized to large enterprises, with a focus on automating and streamlining office operations.

Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team. Set clear performance goals and cultivate a results-driven sales culture.

Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies, including lead generation, client engagement, product positioning, and closing deals.

Target Achievement:
Consistently meet or surpass monthly and quarterly sales targets, and track key performance metrics to evaluate business growth.

Market Intelligence:
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and product offerings.

Client Relationship Management:
Build long-term, trust-based relationships with customers and strategic partners to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.





Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in B2B or SaaS product sales, preferably in the technology or software industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with prior experience in team building, training, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets consistently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools is a plus.
