Student Engagement Officer

Key Responsibilities

Mobilization & Outreach

• Engage with alumni to onboard them into relevant upskilling programs
  
• Connect with local employers and HR networks to generate candidate nominations for training programs
  
• Collaborate with the centre team for field visits, mobilization campaigns, and community events
  
• Maintain a database of potential candidates, alumni, and employer contacts
  

Student Engagement & Support

• Coordinate with trainers and students to ensure smooth onboarding and orientation
  
• Track and follow up on student learning journeys, including progress on self-paced modules
  
• Coordinate webinars, online training sessions, and assessments
  
• Provide reminders and follow-ups for session attendance and course completion
  
• Maintain communication with students to address concerns and boost participation
  

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of outreach efforts, student progress, and engagement status
  
• Support in preparing weekly/monthly reports related to mobilization and student engagement
  
• Ensure data is updated in relevant tracking systems/tools as per QMS or project guidelines
