Job Description - Supply Chain Head

âManage end-to-end supply chain operations including planning, inventory control, logistics

coordination, and dispatch management.

âCoordinate with procurement, warehouse, production, sales, and other internal teams to

ensure timely availability and movement of materials/products.

âMonitor inventory levels, stock movement, replenishment planning, and stock ageing to

avoid stock-outs or excess inventory.

âEnsure timely dispatch and delivery of materials/finished goods as per business

requirements.

âCoordinate with transporters, warehouse partners, and third-party logistics providers for

smooth movement of goods.

âTrack and maintain key supply chain metrics such as inventory levels, fill rate, dispatch TAT,

stock availability, and service levels.

âReview slow-moving, non-moving, and near-expiry inventory and take corrective action in

coordination with relevant teams.

âMaintain and update supply chain MIS, reports, trackers, and dashboards for management

review.

âEnsure adherence to supply chain processes, SOPs, and documentation standards.

âSupport demand planning and forecasting activities in coordination with business/operations

teams.

âCoordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve supply, delivery, or inventory-

related issues on priority.

âIdentify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and operational efficiency

within the supply chain function.

âEnsure compliance with applicable documentation, audit, and regulatory requirements

related to supply chain operations.

Requirements

10â12 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Inventory, or Operations.

Experience in Pharma, Healthcare, Wellness, or Medical Devices preferred.

Strong knowledge of inventory planning, logistics, warehouse operations, and vendor management.

Proficient in Excel, ERP/SAP, and MIS reporting.

Master's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Pharmacy, Commerce, or related field (MBA/PG in Supply Chain is a plus).

Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
