The purpose of this position is to ensure academic excellence in Applied Mathematics by effectively planning, designing, and delivering the curriculum in a dynamic and engaging manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Planning & Delivery

1. Prepare detailed lesson plans (daily, unit-wise, and annual) aligned with Board guidelines for Applied Mathematics.
2. Deliver engaging, concept-driven lessons using real-life applications, case studies, and technology integration.
3. Simplify complex mathematical concepts and promote analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills among students.
4. Integrate interdisciplinary approaches where relevant.

Student Development & Assessment

• Assess and evaluate students’ academic progress through tests, assignments, projects, and practical applications.
• Provide constructive feedback and remedial support where required.
• Track individual student performance and identify learning gaps.
• Prepare students effectively for board examinations and competitive environments.

Classroom Management

• Maintain a disciplined, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Display updated academic content such as formula charts, worksheets, schedules, and student work.
• Ensure proper documentation including lesson plans, assessment records, and progress reports.
• Prepare work plans in advance for substitute teachers in case of planned leave.
• Collaboration & Communication
• Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Communicate student progress regularly with parents and participate in PTMs.
• Collaborate with peers for curriculum planning, academic innovation, and school initiatives.
• Participate actively in staff meetings, workshops, and training programs.

Co-curricular & School Engagement

• Organize and participate in school events such as exhibitions, math clubs, Olympiads, and competitions.
• Encourage student participation in activities that enhance logical thinking and practical application of mathematics.
• Contribute to the overall development of students beyond academics.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: Postgraduate in Mathematics / Applied Mathematics or related field. B.Ed. is mandatory.

Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in senior secondary grades (10–12), preferably in a CBSE school.

Age: 25 – 40 years
