Job Description:

Objective: Role holder is expected to manage / execute different advanced analytics projects cross-functionally but focused more on the Zonal & National level Commercial/GT vertical. • Expertise in building advanced analytics frameworks to deliver business impact projects driving better Sales/operations Levels and / or Optimizing costs using various data sources coming from Zones/Units /Warehouse / Depot, distributors etc,  • Exposure to various Operations solutions like – Route Optimization, QSIPs/Incentive earning opportunities ext., Expertise in Data extraction, mining, and Slicing /Dicing techniques to highlight key opportunity areas and automate reports • Working on cross-functional data coming from multiple sources using custom internal and industry standard tools like SAP, Margin Minder, Distributor Management System, etc, • Hands on extensive experience in analytics tools, visualization platforms and databases. Advanced in programming languages for data transformation and modelling • • Ability to leverage macros/power pivots/Visual Basic to operationalize / automate analytics An expert in advanced excel and can leverage different excel functions, pivots, slicers and other utilities for analysis and data management to derive insights from data • Analysing and teasing out insights from data, storyboard and create executive presentations (Good in PPT making and storytelling skills)  • Identifying key opportunity/gaps through monthly/fortnightly business reviews • Very good interpersonal skills and can work seamlessly across various teams

Job Responsibilities:

Act as a Supporting manager for building Commercial advanced analytics - Managing All reports like DSRs, monthly report from Requirement Gathering, Data Capture, Analysis Framework, Insights Generation within the provided scope and timelines.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders (operations & Commercial, Support functions) to define KPIs based on analytical outputs, and identify key Cost and Revenue Drivers and opportunities to improve Sales/operational performance.

 • Manipulate and analyze large datasets and derive insights

• Extensive use of databases.

• Work on statistical modeling techniques like – Correlation, Regression, Segmentation, Optimization.

• Develop intuitive visualization using PowerBI

• Prepare executive presentations

• Work with cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders effectively Recommend operational actions based on analytics output and build a mechanism to review execution based on recommendations

• Work with Units/ Zones for data gathering, analysis outputs etc,.

Work as conduit between zones to ensure uniformity of data & analysis / formats. Coordinate with zonal MIS team members & help build common platforms wrt various reports & MIS

External Stakeholders - Vendors and Service providers, Direct and indirect customers, Distributors

Job Requirements:

Qualifications: Degree / Master’s degree in a relevant field including Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, MBA or equivalent experience

Experience: 5+ years’ experience in delivering Sales, operational and strategic Analytics; Managing Analytics projects

Functional Skills: • Cross-functional experience in CPG / FMCG or related industry; worked in enterprise analytics or analytics consulting areas Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate analytical and technical concepts with confidence and in an easy-to-understand fashion • • strong business acumen Travel: Up to 10% of the time
