Team Leader - BIM MEP

This role involves managing project delivery, maintaining client relationships, guiding BIM Designers and Modelers, and ensuring the development of accurate and coordinated 3D BIM models, schedules, and project documentation.

The position is based at Axium Global’s Delivery Centre in Andheri, Mumbai, where you will work alongside a highly skilled team of BIM professionals, engineers, and designers. You will collaborate directly with leading MEP consulting firms from the UK, USA, Australia, and the UAE on large-scale and high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project delivery while ensuring client expectations are consistently met.
  

• Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication and coordination.
  

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of BIM Designers and Modelers.
  

• Guide team members in developing accurate and detailed MEP BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
  

• Establish and implement QA/QC procedures and checklists to maintain project quality standards.
  

• Maintain advanced proficiency in Revit, including modeling, detailing, and documentation workflows.
  

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
  

• Develop, maintain, and standardize MEP families, templates, and BIM content libraries.
  

• Ensure effective coordination between MEP, Architectural, Structural, and other disciplines.
  

• Identify, analyze, and resolve clashes and model conflicts using BIM coordination tools.
  

• Support the preparation of high-quality project documentation, including plans, sections, schedules, and elevations.
  

• Monitor project progress, resource allocation, and team productivity to ensure timely project completion.
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• ITI/NCTVT-certified HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing Draftsman, or equivalent technical qualification.
  

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Team Leader – BIM MEP on building services projects.
  

• Strong expertise in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
  

• Proven experience in team management, client coordination, and project delivery.
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  

• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management abilities.
