The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport, along with experience in system integration, API development, troubleshooting, and supporting travel booking platforms.\n\n* * *\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Provide technical support and analysis for GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport.\n * Develop, integrate, and maintain APIs and web services connecting GDS systems with internal applications.\n * Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within GDS environments.\n * Work closely with product teams, developers, and travel operations teams to ensure seamless booking workflows.\n * Troubleshoot and resolve GDS-related technical issues including reservations, ticketing, pricing, and availability.\n * Perform system configuration, enhancements, and performance optimization for GDS integrations.\n * Support testing, implementation, and deployment of new GDS features or upgrades.\n * Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of booking systems.\n * Maintain technical documentation, system architecture diagrams, and integration workflows.\n * Ensure compliance with airline distribution standards and industry protocols.\n\n\n\n* * *\n\nRequired Skills \u0026 Qualifications\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.\n * 5\u20138 years of experience working with Global Distribution Systems (GDS).\n * Hands-on experience with at least one major GDS platform:\n * Amadeus\n * Sabre\n * Travelport (Galileo/Worldspan)\n * Experience with GDS APIs, SOAP/REST web services, and XML/JSON integrations.\n * Strong understanding of travel industry workflows including reservations, ticketing, fare pricing, and availability.\n * Experience working with middleware, booking engines, or travel portals.\n * Knowledge of SQL and database querying.\n * Familiarity with integration tools and API gateways.\n * Experience in system troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.\n\n\n\n* * *\n\nPreferred Skills\n\n * Experience in airline, OTA, travel technology companies, or travel management platforms.\n * Knowledge of NDC (New Distribution Capability) standards.\n * Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).\n * Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.\n * Understanding of payment gateways and ticketing systems.\n\n\n\n* * *\n\nKey Competencies\n\n * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills\n * Excellent communication and stakeholder management\n * Ability to work in cross-functional and global teams\n * Attention to detail and technical documentation skills\n * Ability to handle production support and critical incidents\n\n\n\nAbout NTT DATA\n\nNTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
