Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Technical Sales Engineer to bridge the gap between technology and business. The ideal candidate will have both technical knowledge and sales acumen to understand client requirements, present solutions effectively, and support customers throughout the sales cycle. This role involves product demonstrations, proposal preparation, client engagement, and coordination with internal teams to ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the textile and manufacturing industries.
Conduct technical presentations, product demos, and proof -of -concept sessions with clients.
Understand client requirements and recommend suitable solutions from Robro’s product portfolio.
Prepare proposals, quotations, and technical documentation for sales opportunities.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to address customer needs and ensure solution accuracy.
Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and closure.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and customer loyalty.
Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
Support post -sales teams during implementation and handover phases.
Provide feedback from clients to improve product features and usability.
Requirements
Must -Have Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or related).
1–4 years of experience in technical sales, pre -sales, or application engineering.
Proven track record of achieving (and exceeding) revenue targets in B2B, ideally in industrial automation, manufacturing technologies, machine vision, or adjacent fields.
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex solutions clearly.
Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings, demos, and exhibitions.
Ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross -functional teams.
Preferred:
Experience in industrial automation, machine vision, or manufacturing systems.
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting.
Knowledge of technical textiles or related industries.
