Job Description - Technical Support Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Systems, Analytics, and AI Configurator to oversee the management, setup, and optimization of our data systems and AI data connections. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of our data infrastructure and AI initiatives.

Job responsibilities:

  • Be first line of support for Victaulic VDC and Customers using Victaulic VDC software
  • Update user support material as required to minimize repeated support requests
  • Participate in biweekly technical presentations for all of Victaulic VDC
  • Enhance hardware and software technology ecosystem within VDC and external partners/customers
  • Review all tech adoption plans within VDC
  • Update Autodesk and other software user assets as required
  • Review network updates and server maintenance provided by IT
  • Work as liaison between IT and VDC to make sure VDC technology quality of service is maintained to the highest level
  • Communicate technology needs, using simple understood terms and descriptions
  • Understand the platforms to prepare piping layouts and design drawings
  • Assist in sales and Customer presentations to demonstrate the proper usage of Victaulic software
  • Configurations of all VDC BIM software using systems to automate when possible

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Min 5 years of experience in data systems management (VDC systems support)
  • Construction Software Experience
  • Software knowledge Revit, BIM360 Docs, AutoCAD and Navisworks
  • Strong PC and CAD skills, Excel
  • Previous construction/design project experience
  • Good presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to travel for Customer visits, tradeshows and Conferences
