Job Description - Tendering & Sales Support Executive



 


Your role

    Managing tender filing across portals pan India: 
    Finding the tender leads and allocate those leads to Sales Engineers/ Dealers. 
    Mainting the tenders leads/ opportunities register, update the status timely, close the tenders with most possible winning ratio, if lost- same should be updated in master data base/ register. 
    Maintain the tender related documents so that same can be used for SVD tenders submission on portal. 
    Manage reverse auction bids with price guidance of sales team/ BLM. 
    Basic help to Edwards India sales team for tender portals like GEM, CPP, Eproc etc. 
    Allocate the tender leads to relevate sales team.
    Make sure to maintain the tender portal for transaction charges/ updated financial statements/ annual maint charges so that there will be no account block and smooth selling over portal for others too. 
    Sales support functions like Quotation, C4C, local supply offer and PO placement on time, coordination with SCM team for time bounded delivery commitment, EMD, PBG, SD.


     Reports and analysis support to Sales team: 
Monthly Report: Consolidate Monthly direct and dealer performance which includes their Visits, Opportunities, OR/OI present during Monthly Review Meeting. 
    Follow up on status of enquiries shared to Dealers via Dealer APP
    Tracking Lead generation from various sources and update the sales team.
    Quarterly maintain the commission sheet, maintain dealer commission annually, dealer engineer reward quarterly.
    Promotional and marketing material support and timely supply to the stakeholders. Collabarte with marketing for C4C lead allocation to sales people and timely follow ups with them. Also help marketing for mass mailer activity timely. Help to smoothly execution of marketing activities like participating in Expos, conducting seminars and sales camps pan India.
    Give input for quarterly news letter “Beats” to marcom team. 
    Handle customer meet, Expos, Seminars etc & may have to travel out of base location as per business need.  


    Help for Dealers app updation, training, monitoring and action plan on weekly basis.
    Effective Customer verbal/written communication on behalf of the sales team and follow up on the same.  
    Account receivables monitoring and reminders before due date of payments and for overdue cases supporting sales team for effective payment collection, raise red flag if any. 
    Check and monitor assigned KPI Quarterly.



Key Challenges: 


    Backend support is mandatory due to extensive travel of the sales team and support function is required in CC Pune to coordinate with cross functional team/ dealer/ customers. 

To succeed, you will need

Educational requirements
1.    University or Institutional (Diploma/ Bachelor/Masters) in a related engineering (Mechnical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Science/ Technical) discipline. 


Experience requirements
2.    Proven support experience in Industrial Equipment of 3+ years & experience in the vacuum pump industry is an added advantage.
3.    Having Govt tendring portal job strong experience of min 3+ Years. 
4.    Having Growth Mindset,commercial, soft skills and negotiating skill. 



Knowledge
5.    Sound technical understanding and interest in new products/technical developments/ new learning. 
6.    A clear understanding of backend sales support. 
7.    Very good knowledge of Microsoft office, comfortable using CRM platforms quit desire to learn new systems. 
8.    Able to work as a team and always under the ATLAS COPCO philosophy "THE WAY WE DO THINGS"
9.    Take ownership and raise red flags in case needed.
