Territory Manager- Sales (Trade)

Legrand India is looking for a dynamic, results-driven Territory Manager – Trade Sales to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for accelerating revenue growth by managing and expanding our retail and distribution network. You will drive primary, secondary, and tertiary sales within your assigned territory, ensuring Legrand remains the preferred brand for dealers, retailers, and electrical contractors. • Drive Territory Sales: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales volume and revenue targets for the assigned product lines.

• Manage Channel Partners: Onboard, support, and maintain strong relationships with Authorized Distributors (ADs), retail dealers, and sub-dealers.

• Expand Retail Footprint: Increase counter share and market penetration by identifying and appointing new retail outlets.

• Engage the Influencer Community: Conduct regular painter/electrician/contractor meets to build brand loyalty and drive product recommendations.

• Ensure Visual Merchandising: Monitor and improve in-shop branding, product displays, and POS material placement across retail counters.

• Track Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, pricing structures, and promotional schemes to provide actionable feedback to leadership.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA/MBA), Marketing, or a Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• Experience: 3 to 6 years of proven experience in channel sales, general trade, or dealer-distributor management.
• Industry Background: Prior experience in Electrical (FMEG/Switchgear), Lighting industry is highly preferred.
• Core Skills: Strong negotiation, relationship management, communication, and market analysis skills.
