As a Test Automation Engineer, a typical day involves enhancing the testing process by integrating continuous and efficient quality engineering practices. This role focuses on improving the overall control, accuracy, and integrity of testing activities by leveraging advanced tools and methodologies. The position requires evolving testing strategies to be more predictive and intelligent, utilizing automation and innovative solutions to ensure high-quality outcomes throughout the software development lifecycle. Collaboration and adaptation to new testing technologies are key aspects of daily responsibilities, driving improvements in testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of automation frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve test coverage.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and support their professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align testing strategies with project goals and timelines.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Functional Test Planning.
- Strong knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks relevant to functional testing.
- Experience in designing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Ability to analyze test results and identify areas for improvement in testing processes.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support automated testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve testing challenges efficiently.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Functional Test Planning.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
