Job Description - Textile Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Part of Sales team for Textile Division with focus on doubling the sales of HTHP Yarn Dyeing Machines in the next two to three years.
  • Shall be responsible for the day -to -day sales operations ranging from inquiry, trials, negotiations and order finalization for assigned regions/territories OR Pan India Level (depending upon the experience the person brings with him) with a special focus in penetrating the South Indian and the North Indian market.

  • Stay in touch with existing customers for consumables orders, accessories, and equipment upgrades/ replacement. That is he needs to develop a strong after sales pipeline for revenues.

  • Take part in market development through setting up meetings on phone calls and following it up with personal meetings, cold calls and follow up with the leads generated during the exhibitions to acquire new customers.

  • Market intelligence in the form of newer technologies or features offered by the competitors and sharing the same with the factory and RND team.

  • Achieve individual and group sales targets set at the beginning of the year.

  • Should be able to handle the existing dealers and distributors and guide their team and give the required technical support.

  • Should be able to identify territories having business potentials and develop new dealer/distributors if required.

  • Will be based in Mumbai office /Thane Factory and can expect travelling of approx 100 days in a year to get new customers.


Growth:

Depending upon the performance the person can get promoted to the next level at a leadership role for the Textile Division.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess a Degree/Diploma in Textile Engineering (Preferred) / Mechanical / Production engineer or be a Science Graduate with Physics as his main subject with a good track record. Candidates with qualification of MBA will have an edge.

  • Must be fluent in linguistic abilities as well as written communication. Ability to speak fluently in English, Hindi and Marathi along with either of Tamil / Telgu / Kannada will be an added advantage.

  • At least 10 plus years of sales experience of Package Dyeing machinery or related field in industrial products and/or services. Candidates having exposure to Package Dyeing Machines would have an edge on other candidates.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills are a must. Must be an achiever and a go -getter with a successful track record to demonstrate the same.

  • Should be a self -starter

  • Should have done value selling and not the price game.

  • Should be ready to travel all over India to service old customers and develop new customers in the same geography as well as in other geographies.
