Requirements

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Teaching and Curriculum Delivery:
   

   • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Science lessons for Grades 6 to 10 in alignment with the CBSE syllabus.
     
   • Use diverse teaching methodologies, including project -based learning, experiments, and technology integration, to enhance understanding and retention.
     
   • Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assignments.
     

2. Student Assessment and Support:
   

   • Evaluate students through classwork, homework, tests, and assignments, providing constructive feedback.
     
   • Analyze academic performance and address learning gaps through remedial teaching.
     
   • Encourage student participation in Science fairs, Olympiads, and other competitions.
     

3. Classroom Management:
   

   • Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom.
     
   • Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a scientific approach in students.
     

4. Collaborative Responsibilities:
   

   • Work with colleagues to align teaching practices and curriculum planning.
     
   • Communicate with parents regarding student progress and academic concerns during PTMs or as needed.
     

5. Professional Development:
   

   • Stay updated with the latest developments in Science education and CBSE guidelines.
     
   • Attend workshops, training sessions, and seminars to enhance teaching skills.
     

6. Administrative Duties:
   

   • Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and other classroom activities.
     
   • Participate in school events, staff meetings, and other administrative tasks as required.
     

Required Qualifications

1. Educational Background:
   

   • Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) with B.Ed. is mandatory.
     
   • Master’s Degree in Science is preferred.
     
   • CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) qualification is highly desirable.
     

2. Experience:
   

   • Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE -affiliated school.

   • Strong understanding of the CBSE Science curriculum and examination patterns.
     

2. Teaching and Communication:
   

   • Excellent teaching, presentation, and verbal/written communication skills.
