*Summary:* 

We are seeking a passionate and qualified TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) Social Science Teacher to join our dynamic academic team in a leading educational institution. This role is pivotal in shaping the intellectual and civic development of students in Grades 6–10 by delivering engaging, curriculum -aligned instruction in History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics. *Responsibilities:*

- Deliver high -quality, curriculum -compliant instruction in Social Science subjects across Grades 6–10. 

- Develop and implement lesson plans that incorporate active learning strategies, real -world applications, and interdisciplinary connections. 

- Utilize diverse teaching aids, including multimedia, maps, timelines, and digital tools, to enhance student engagement and comprehension. 

- Assess student learning through formative and summative evaluations, providing timely and constructive feedback. 

- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and progress reports. 

- Collaborate with department heads and colleagues to align teaching practices with institutional goals and national curriculum standards (NCERT/CBSE/ICSE). 

- Participate in academic planning, staff meetings, parent -teacher interactions, and professional development workshops. 

- Promote values of tolerance, social responsibility, and global citizenship through classroom discussions and thematic projects. 

- Support co -curricular activities such as debates, quizzes, cultural programs, and field trips related to social studies.

*Requirements:* 

- Post Graduate degree in Social Science (History, Geography, Political Science, or Economics) from a recognized university. 

- Valid B.Ed or D.Ed qualification from a recognized institution. 

- 1–5 years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably in a CBSE/ICSE or state board school. 

- Strong subject knowledge and ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse learners. 

- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and learning management systems (LMS). 

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. 

- Demonstrated commitment to student development and inclusive education practices. 

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to evolving educational standards and technologies
