Tv Operations Engineer

This role sits within the team responsible for the day-to-day operation of Proximus' television
platform and the associated backend services that deliver TV content to customers.
Although the platform is built on the Accenture Video Solutions (AVS) technology stack, the position
goes beyond supporting a specific application. The primary focus is ensuring the end-to-end
availability, stability, and performance of the TV service experienced by customers.

Key responsibilities include:

- Monitoring and operating critical TV backend systems on a daily basis.
- Participating in an on-call (guard duty) rotation to ensure service continuity and rapid incident
response.
- Performing preventive maintenance activities, software updates, and platform health checks.
- Troubleshooting and coordinating the resolution of incidents across multiple technology
domains.
- Driving continuous improvements in operational processes, automation, monitoring, and
service reliability.
- Working closely with vendors, engineering teams, and operational stakeholders to maintain
agreed service levels and KPIs.
