Job Description - UniData Developer

About the Role

This role involves working with our legacy systems, focusing on the development and maintenance of applications using the UniBasic language. You will be responsible for writing and optimizing UniData subroutines to handle and refine large datasets. You will collaborate closely with our data management team to ensure the integrity and performance of our data systems.

What You'll Be Doing

- Develop and optimize UniData subroutines to manage and process large volumes of data efficiently
- Refine and enhance existing data processes to improve accuracy and performance within our legacy systems
- Collaborate with the data management team to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues specific to our UniData environment
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of UniData applications to ensure reliability and accuracy
- Maintain documentation for all UniData processes and subroutines to support ongoing system maintenance and updates

What We're Looking For

Required:
- 4+ years of experience in developing applications using the UniBasic language
- Proven expertise in writing and optimizing UniData subroutines
- Demonstrated ability to handle and refine large datasets within a UniData environment
- Experience working with legacy systems and understanding their unique challenges

Preferred:
- Familiarity with data management practices specific to legacy systems
