*Responsibilities:* 

- Plan, develop, and deliver comprehensive, age -appropriate lesson plans aligned with the CBSE/State Board curriculum for Social Studies. 

- Use innovative teaching methodologies, including project -based learning, interactive discussions, and multimedia tools, to enhance student engagement and understanding. 

- Assess student performance through regular tests, assignments, presentations, and classroom participation; provide timely feedback and maintain accurate records. 

- Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and respectful dialogue on social, historical, and political issues. 

- Collaborate with the academic team to develop interdisciplinary projects and school -wide events related to social sciences. 

- Support students with diverse learning needs through differentiated instruction and individualized guidance. 

- Participate in staff meetings, parent -teacher interactions, and professional development workshops. 

- Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies related to curriculum delivery and student assessment.

*Requirements:* 

- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences (History, Geography, Political Science, or related field) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. 

- Valid B.Ed. or D.Ed. qualification from a recognized university/institution. 

- Proficiency in teaching Social Studies (Classes VI–X) as per CBSE/State Board syllabi. 

- Strong subject knowledge and ability to simplify complex concepts for young learners. 

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 

- Familiarity with digital teaching tools (e.g., Google Classroom, PowerPoint, interactive whiteboards) is preferred. 

- 1–3 years of teaching experience in a school setting (preferred but not mandatory for exceptional freshers). 

- Commitment to continuous professional growth and adherence to ethical teaching standards.
