US Tax Accountant

Salary range: Rs 800000 - Rs 1200000 (ie INR 8-12 LPA)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review US Individual Tax Returns (Form 1040).
• Prepare Partnership Tax Returns (Form 1065) along with related schedules.
• Prepare Corporate Tax Returns (Form 1120) and supporting workpapers.
• Perform month-end and year-end bookkeeping for US clients.
• Finalize books of accounts before tax preparation.
• Prepare and review bank, credit card, loan, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Pass year-end adjusting journal entries, including accruals, depreciation, and prepaid expenses.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Coordinate with US CPAs and clients to collect missing tax documents and resolve accounting queries.
• Maintain complete tax workpapers and documentation.
• Ensure timely completion of tax returns while meeting quality standards.
• Support tax planning and respond to client queries as required.
