US Tax Administrative Assistant

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 400000 - Rs 700000 (ie INR 4 - 7 LPA)

• Download tax documents submitted by clients through Intuit portals and organize them in the appropriate client folders
• .Retrieve tax documents received via email or other client-submitted formats and maintain accurate electronic filing systems
• .Review all received tax documents for completeness, readability, and accuracy. Verify passwords when applicable, ensure access to files, and securely remove password protection after documents are saved in accordance with firm procedures
• .Compare current-year tax documents with prior-year records to identify missing items. Once approximately 70–80% of required documentation has been received, forward the file to Shelly for tax preparation
• .Communicate professionally with clients to request missing documents, clarify information, and resolve documentation issues
• .Send reminders and follow-up emails to clients regarding tax preparation deadlines to ensure timely completion of tax returns
• .Maintain strict confidentiality and security of sensitive financial, tax, and personal information
• .Provide administrative, organizational, and clerical support to the tax team during tax season and throughout the year as needed
