Job Description - Apprentice

Next.js apprentice to support our frontend engineering team in building scalable, high-performance web applications. This internship is designed for candidates who want hands-on experience with modern React, Next.js, and web development best practices in a real production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using Next.js and React

Implement UI components based on Figma / design specs

Work with SSR, SSG, and ISR patterns in Next.js

Integrate frontend features with REST or GraphQL APIs

Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code

Fix bugs, improve performance, and refactor existing components

Participate in code reviews and team stand-ups

Learn and follow frontend best practices (accessibility, performance, SEO)

Requirements

Good understanding of JavaScript (ES6+)

Introductory experience with Next.js (routing, pages/app directory, data fetching)

Familiarity with React fundamentals (components, props, state, hooks)

Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3

Experience with modern CSS approaches (CSS Modules, Tailwind, or Styled Components)

Basic understanding of Git / version control

Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment
