Job Purpose:

 

The individual will be
a part of Accounting and Business Support team assisting clients in managing
their GST compliances including resolving day to day queries, advisories and
other GST litigation jobs including appearance before statutory authorities.

                                                                                                                                   

 

Role Responsibilities:

 

The incumbent shall be
responsible for the GST and other indirect tax assignments. The assignments
will be in the nature of regulatory compliances, advisory and expert opinion,
litigation support including appearance before statutory authorities. The responsibilities
shall include but shall not be limited to:

 

·         Ensuring regulatory compliances of various
clients on a regular basis

·         Verification and advisory on records,
documents, registers etc. as required by law

·         Preparation of replies to show cause notices
and other proceedings before the authorities and representations in person

·         Research on applicable case laws, articles,
write -ups to substantiate tax positions

·         Preparation of advisory and expert opinions

·         Timely raising of invoices on client and
collection as per defined targets

·         Regular visits on client place to give comfort
to client on deliverables

·         Responding and providing solutions on technical
issues to clients on time

·         Preparation of weekly To -do of the team and
discussion with Manager/Partner

·         Timely escalation of any important matter of
clients with seniors

·         Ensuring systems and processes are being
followed for the team

·         Building performance score cards at the
beginning of each year for self and ensuring meeting targets as per score card

·         Knowledge dissemination to team members on
technical topics through presentations and discussions

·         Writing articles on professional topics
