Customer Data - Trainee

Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to assist customers and sales associates with a variety of customer-related transactions, ensuring that the customers' needs are met in a timely and quality manner.  The position will also create and maintain customer master data used by the marketing and sales areas.　
 

Job Responsibilities

• Processes customer transactions, such as complaints/returns, credit/debit memos, subscription contract cancellations, moves, etc.　


• Creates orders and subscription contracts received through multiple channels within established timeframe.


• Oversees the end-to-end processing of Leads, Trials and Orders within the EOI Table Interface System, including research and resolution of related data issues. 


• Runs and researches the daily order error and EOI error reports, making corrections as needed for orders to flow through system following established guidelines.


• Sets up new customer business partners and maintains customer master data, following established guidelines. Customer master data includes, but is not limited to, hierarchy structure, company name, addresses, contacts, etc.　


• Services all customers (internal and external) within established timeframe in a professional manner.　


• Independently resolves most problems to the mutual satisfaction of both the customer and the company. 

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience:

• 6 months to 1 year of experience processing customer transactions and working with customer related data.


• Call center experience desirable.

Other Skills/Qualifications:

• Must be proficient in the use of a PC and MS Office Suite with intermediate Excel skills.


• Quality minded and detail oriented.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


• Ability to learn and utilize a variety of software applications.


• Problem solving skills.


• Desire to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Physical Requirements

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time.
