Job Description - DECCAN RETAIL - Ecommerce Intern

Summary:

We are seeking a detail -oriented and tech -savvy E -commerce Operations Intern to support our growing online business across Amazon and Shopify. This role is ideal for someone passionate about data, digital marketplaces, and product optimization. As an integral part of our operations team, you’ll play a crucial role in streamlining product sourcing, enhancing listing quality, and ensuring seamless catalog management. You’ll gain hands -on experience in a fast -paced, data -driven e -commerce environment while contributing to the scaling of our Shopify store through efficient workflows and precision execution.

Responsibilities:

Identify and scrape relevant Amazon ASINs based on predefined criteria.
Use Excel to manage large datasets, cross -reference findings with internal Tally Sheets, and validate product availability.
Assist in shortlisting high -potential products for inclusion in our Shopify store.
Execute bulk product imports into Shopify using the Spreadr app.
Maintain data consistency and integrity between Excel workbooks and the Shopify backend.
Optimize product titles by rewriting them to be concise, professional, and SEO -friendly.
Map barcode fields to corresponding Tally Names from internal records.
Assign accurate product categories to enhance customer navigation and searchability.
Update pricing and set Compare at Pricing (discounts) for new listings.
Finalize listings by adding Meta Titles, Meta Descriptions, and custom URL handles to improve search engine visibility.

Requirements

Requirements:

Proficient in Excel with experience in sorting, filtering, and using VLOOKUPs or similar formulas.
Familiarity with Shopify, Amazon product pages, and the Spreadr app (or ability to quickly learn).
Exceptional attention to detail when handling SKU -level data, pricing, and formatting.
Strong understanding of SEO principles and ability to follow naming conventions and content guidelines.
Reliable and consistent in delivering high -quality work on repetitive tasks within deadlines.
