Job Description - Digital Mojo - SEO Intern

Summary:

As a Digital Mojo - SEO Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our digital marketing initiatives by contributing to search engine optimization strategies that drive organic traffic, improve online visibility, and enhance user engagement. This entry -level position is designed for recent graduates or early -career professionals eager to build a strong foundation in SEO practices within a fast -paced, results -driven marketing environment. You will work closely with experienced SEO specialists and content teams to conduct keyword research, analyze website performance, optimize on -page elements, and monitor ranking trends. This internship offers hands -on experience in real -world SEO campaigns, providing valuable insights into the technical, analytical, and creative aspects of digital marketing. Your contributions will directly impact our clients’ digital presence and long -term growth, making this a unique opportunity to grow your expertise while being part of a dynamic marketing team.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive keyword research using industry -standard tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Keyword Planner) to identify high -value opportunities.
Assist in on -page SEO optimization, including meta tags, headers, URL structures, and internal linking strategies.
Support content creation and optimization efforts by aligning content with SEO best practices and target keywords.
Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console; generate regular reports on traffic, rankings, and user behavior.
Identify and report technical SEO issues such as broken links, crawl errors, and site speed bottlenecks.
Collaborate with content and design teams to ensure SEO considerations are integrated into new web pages and campaigns.
Track and analyze competitor SEO strategies to inform our optimization approach.
Maintain organized documentation of SEO activities, findings, and recommendations.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
Basic understanding of SEO principles, including on -page, off -page, and technical SEO.
Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar platforms.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
Self -motivated, eager to learn, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Passion for digital marketing, search engines, and online content.
