Job Description - Digital Signal Processing Engineer (DSP) Internship

Nirvesh Enterprises Private Limited, an emerging neurotechnology startup, is building next -generation brain -sensing solutions that take neuroscience beyond the lab and into real -world applications. We are looking for a Digital Signal Processing Engineer with strong EEG and/or fNIRS experience to join our core team.

What You'll Do:

Develop and optimize DSP algorithms for EEG and fNIRS signals (filtering, artifact removal, feature extraction, sensor fusion).
Build real -time signal -processing pipelines for wearable or mobile neurotech systems.
Analyze neural and physiological datasets to prototype cognitive/affective state models.
Implement ML/statistical models for prediction or classification.
Work closely with hardware, software, and neuroscience teams.
Rapidly prototype in Python/MATLAB (bonus: C/C++).
Support experiments, data collection, and validation.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Hands -on EEG and/or fNIRS processing experience.

Strong DSP fundamentals (ICA/CCA, filtering, spectral analysis, wavelets, etc.).

Proficiency in Python or MATLAB.

Experience with ML for time -series/physiological signals.

Comfort working in fast -moving, evolving startup environments.

Nice to Have:

Wearable neurotech experience,

Embedded DSP, Cloud/mobile integration,
BCI/neurofeedback background, or knowledge of medical device workflows.
