We are looking for a passionate Robotics Engineer to join our robotics and autonomous systems team. The role involves developing, testing, and deploying intelligent robotic systems that combine AI, computer vision, autonomous navigation, perception, sensor fusion, robotics software, and real-world hardware integration.
This position offers hands-on exposure to Autonomous Mobile Robots, Physical AI technologies, ROS2-based robotics systems, edge AI deployment, and real-world field challenges, with an opportunity to grow into a full-time engineering role.
Assist in developing and testing robotic software modules for autonomous navigation, SLAM/VSLAM, localization, mapping, path planning, obstacle avoidance, motion planning, and robot behaviour execution using ROS2 and related frameworks.
Support the development of AI-enabled robotic systems that allow robots to perceive, understand, decide, and act in real-world environments.
Work on perception-driven decision-making, human-aware navigation, intelligent obstacle handling, behaviour planning, and autonomous task execution.
Support development and deployment of computer vision solutions such as object detection, image processing, pose estimation, tracking, camera calibration, visual perception, and AI model integration.
Work with tools such as OpenCV, YOLO, PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX, TensorRT, CUDA, and edge AI platforms.
Assist in integrating LiDARs, cameras, IMUs, encoders, motor controllers, embedded systems, and edge computing platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and STM32.
Support system validation, sensor calibration, robot debugging, and troubleshooting of hardware-software interactions.
Participate in robot testing, calibration, debugging, field trials, customer-site deployments, data collection, and performance optimization.
Analyse robot logs, rosbag data, sensor outputs, navigation issues, perception errors, and real-world deployment observations to improve system reliability.
Exposure to ROS2, ROS, autonomous navigation, SLAM, VSLAM, localization, mapping, path planning, motion planning, odometry, robot kinematics, robot software architecture, and autonomous mobile robots.
Familiarity with ROS2 Nav2, SLAM Toolbox, AMCL, RTAB-Map, Cartographer, ORB-SLAM, RViz, Gazebo, TF, URDF, and rosbag is preferred.
Hands-on exposure to OpenCV, YOLO, object detection, image processing, image segmentation, tracking, pose estimation, camera calibration, depth sensing, visual odometry, and perception pipelines.
Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX, TensorRT, CUDA, OpenVINO, model deployment, and edge AI inference is preferred.
Experience or exposure to NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, STM32, embedded Linux, LiDAR, RGB/depth cameras, IMUs, wheel encoders, motor controllers, CAN, UART, I2C, SPI, USB, GPIO, and PWM.
Strong Python programming skills with familiarity in C++, Linux, Git, Docker, APIs, shell scripting, debugging, and software development workflows.
Strong analytical thinking, debugging ability, hands-on experimentation mindset, willingness to learn quickly, and ability to solve real-world robotics engineering challenges.
Good communication, documentation, and teamwork skills. Willingness to travel for robot testing, field deployment, and customer support activities.
Bachelor's or Master's degree, completed within the last 6 months, in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Embedded Systems, Automation, Control Systems, or related disciplines.
Minimum CGPA of 7.0 with no standing arrears.
