Conduct feasibility studies and analyze design concepts to optimize performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to provide technical support and resolve design-related issues during the production phase.
Participate in design reviews and provide input to improve the overall quality and reliability of designs.
Stay updated on advancements in CAD software and UAV technology to improve design capabilities and efficiency.
Prepare computational geometry for FEA/CFD analysis from CAD models.
Work with teams to ensure that designs meet all safety and performance requirements.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes, tools, and methodologies.
Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
Knowledge of CAD engineering with a focus on design principles.
Familiarity with aerodynamics, fluid mechanics, computational fluid dynamics, and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, and NX.
Understanding of design for manufacturing (DFM) and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work within project deadlines.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
