Research Intern – Monitoring & Evaluation

Role Overview

• Assist in primary and secondary research activities for M&E assignments.
  

• Support data collection, data cleaning, and basic analysis using Excel or other tools.
  

• Conduct literature reviews and compile research summaries.
  

• Help prepare reports, presentations, dashboards, and documentation.
  

• Assist in survey design, interview coordination, and note-taking.
  

• Maintain organized project files and research databases.
  

• Support proposal writing and knowledge management activities as needed.
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Public Policy, Statistics, Development Studies, or related fields.
  

• Strong research and analytical skills.
  

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
  

• Attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
  

• Familiarity with Monitoring & Evaluation concepts and research methodologies.
  

• Experience with data collection and data analysis tools (SurveyCTO, SPSS, STATA or similar) is an advantage.
  

• Interest in development sector consulting and impact assessment.
