Social Media Intern

About the role

We're looking for a confident, camera-ready creator to be the face of Masai on social media. You understand hooks, follow trends closely and know what makes people stop scrolling. You'll create everyday content that feels native to each platform, support shoots with creators and students across our courses, and use tools and AI to create faster.

What you'll do

  Appear on camera as the face of Masai in Reels, Shorts and LinkedIn videos.

  
  


• 
  

  Ideate, script, shoot, do basic edits and post content for the content calendar.

  
  


• 
  

  Write strong hooks, captions and short scripts designed for retention and shares.

  
  


• 
  

  Spot trending audios, formats and memes early, and adapt them for Masai quickly.

  
  


• 
  

  Adapt content for Instagram, LinkedIn, X and YouTube so it feels native to each platform.

  
  


• 
  

  Schedule and publish posts using Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite or similar tools.

  
  


• 
  

  Use Claude and other AI tools for ideation, scripting, caption variations and repurposing.

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinate with creators and influencers on collaborations and shoot schedules.

  
  


• 
  

  Support internal shoots and shoots with creators and students across Masai courses.

  
  


• 
  

  Track how posts perform, share what's working, and help with comments, DMs and replies.

  
  

What we're looking for

• 
  

  Confident on camera and a clear communicator in English. Hindi is a plus.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong content sense: you understand hooks, trends and what makes content go viral.

  
  


• 
  

  Active on Instagram, LinkedIn, X and YouTube, and aware of how content differs across each.

  
  


• 
  

  Good writing skills for hooks, captions and short scripts.

  
  


• 
  

  An analytical mindset: comfortable reading views, retention and engagement data to improve content.

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite or similar scheduling tools.

  
  


• 
  

  Comfortable using Claude or similar AI tools in day-to-day content work.

  
  


• 
  

  Basic shooting and editing skills (CapCut, InShot, VN or Canva).

  
  


• 
  

  Organised, and available for on-site shoots in Bengaluru.

  
  


• 
  

  Freshers and final-year students are welcome.

  
  

Good to have

  Your own content page or portfolio with some traction.

  Exposure to automation tools (Zapier, ManyChat or similar).

  Interest in tech, careers or education.

  Experience with Premiere Pro or After Effects.
