Video Editor-(Intern)

About the Opportunity
A fast-growing digital content studio in the influencer marketing & social media advertising space, we craft high-impact short-form videos for D2C brands, startups, and celebrities across Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok. Our team blends creativity with data to build viral-worthy content that drives engagement, conversions, and brand recall—working hand-in-hand with creators, copywriters, and performance marketers to ship 10+ clips weekly. Role & Responsibilities

• EDIT 5-10 social videos per week—trimming raw footage, syncing audio, adding captions, transitions, effects, and brand overlays


• Follow style guides and platform specs (9:16, 1080p, 60fps, subtitles, etc.) to ensure content is mobile-optimized and thumb-stopping


• Collaborate with content strategists to match edits with performance goals (CTR, watch time, Shares)


• Use templates, stock sound, and color grading presets to maintain brand consistency across campaigns


• Deliver final cuts in MP4 format, organized by campaign, within 24-48hrs of asset receipt


• Learn and adapt to new editing trends (jump cuts, zooms, text animations, sound syncing) based on viral benchmarks

Skills & Qualifications

• Must-Have


• Adobe Premiere Pro


• Final Cut Pro


• DaVinci Resolve


• Canva (Video)


• CapCut


• Instagram Reels & TikTok format specs


• Basic color grading & audio syncing


• Fast turnaround editing under tight deadlines

• Preferred


• Experience editing influencer or UGC content


• Basic motion graphics (After Effects or Premiere Essential Graphics)


• Understanding of CTR-driven editing (hook-first, mid-roll retention tactics)
