Job Description - Accounting Team Lead

We are supporting a growing organisation in the appointment of an Accounting Team Leader. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper, Accounts Supervisor, or Part -Qualified Accountant looking to step into a broader role combining financial reporting, team leadership, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the delivery of bookkeeping and financial reporting across a portfolio of entities.
Prepare and review management accounts, payroll, reconciliations, and month -end reporting.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing day -to -day queries and building strong relationships.
Review the work of the team, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
Support and develop junior team members while driving consistent processes and best practice.

Key Requirements:

Accounting Technician (ATI/AAT), part -qualified ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA, or qualified by experience.
Strong bookkeeping experience, including management accounts, payroll, VAT, and month -end processes.
Previous supervisory experience, or the ambition and capability to step into a team leadership role.
Experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks, together with strong Excel skills.
Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a proactive and client -focused approach.
