We are hiring Assistant Director Of Nursing - Nursing Practice Development Co-Ordinator Posts for a hospital located in Cork, Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and implement the annual Nursing Practice Development Programme across the hospital, ensuring continuous evaluation of its effectiveness and outcomes.
Drive quality improvement initiatives by developing, managing, and monitoring annual nursing service practice development and patient safety plans.
Provide leadership in quality, safety, and accreditation governance, actively participating in committees and promoting best practices in patient care.
Coordinate audits and performance monitoring activities to measure nursing-related patient safety indicators, patient satisfaction, and clinical outcomes.
Assess workforce education and training needs and provide data-driven recommendations to support appropriate nursing skill mix, staffing, and professional development
Requirements
Current NMBI registration with a minimum of 5 years' post-registration nursing experience.
At least 2 years' experience in clinical practice management, practice development, nursing education, or quality improvement initiatives.
Strong commitment to patient safety, quality care, and continuous service improvement.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, with the ability to engage effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take initiative in achieving objectives.
