  Develop and implement an annual nursing practice development programme across the hospital and evaluate its effectiveness.

  Provide leadership on quality and patient safety matters, overseeing the implementation of an annual nursing practice development and improvement plan.
  
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Lead quality and safety governance initiatives and participate in accreditation committees related to patient safety.
  
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinate monitoring and audit activities to assess nursing-related patient safety, patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
  
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct regular assessments to identify education and training needs across the nursing workforce.
  
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Provide nursing management with relevant information to support decisions regarding appropriate staffing levels and skill mix.
  
  
  

  
  

Requirements

• 
  

  Minimum of five years’ post-registration experience, including at least two years’ experience in or involvement with clinical practice management, practice development, education or quality improvement.
  
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Strong commitment to patient safety, quality of care and professional values.
  
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
  
  
  

  
  


•
