Job Title: Car Mechanic

Location: UNIT 36B, NEWTOWN AVENUE, MALAHIDE ROAD INDUSTRIAL PARK, DUBLIN 17 - D17 C521

Salary: €37,000 per year

Hours: 39 hours per week

Responsibilities:

- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using specialised diagnostic equipment.

- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles.

- Repair and replace components including timing chains, timing belts, clutches, brakes, suspension systems and steering components.

- Perform engine, transmission and electrical system inspections.

- Conduct road tests to identify and verify vehicle faults.

- Maintain accurate records of repairs, servicing and parts used.

- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and health and safety regulations.

- Communicate repair requirements and technical findings to management and customers.

Requirements:

- Experience as a Car Mechanic, Motor Technician or similar role.

- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repair procedures.

- Ability to use modern diagnostic equipment and tools.

- Strong fault -finding and troubleshooting skills.

- Good communication skills and attention to detail.

- Relevant mechanical qualification is a bonus.
