SENIOR CARDIAC PHYSIOLOGIST

(Senior Grade)

Full-Time Permanent Position

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the post of Senior Grade Cardiac Physiologist. This is a full-time permanent position.

The successful candidates will be excellent communicators and enjoy the challenges of working in a busy Cardiac Department rotating between the main department and the Cardiac Catheterisation Lab and possess the following skills at a minimum:

Requirements:

• Possess the BSc. in Clinical Measurement Science, Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) or hold an equivalent qualification
• Minimum of three years post qualification experience is required
• Previous experience at a similar level desirable
• Technical proficiency in both adult Trans-thoracic Echocardiography and/or Cath Lab procedures is desirable
• BSE Accreditation desirable
• Excellent communication/inter-personal skills and a high capacity for responsibility and individual initiative
