Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair timber structures such as frames, flooring, roofing, and joinery.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans related to timber carpentry.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber materials with precision using appropriate tools and machinery.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes throughout the carpentry process.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and uphold a clean and safe work environment.
• Identify and resolve any on-site issues related to timber carpentry work.

• Proven experience as a Carpenter specializing in timber work.
• Strong understanding of timber properties, carpentry techniques, and tools specific to timber work.
• Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to timber carpentry.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle timber materials and woodworking tools.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work productively within a team environment.
• Valid driver's license and flexibility to travel to different job sites as needed.
