Job Description - Claims Analyst

We’re looking for a Claims Analyst



Based in our Dublin office but working flexibly and reporting to the Head of Claims Operations & Analytics, the Claims Analyst will provide vital support for Hamilton’s claims function to ensure that we provide a first-class claims service to our clients around the world.



Hamilton Global Specialty is our multi-platform, specialty insurer operating primarily through a Lloyd's Syndicate and Dublin operating company with a managing general agency in the US.



What you will do




  • Set up new claims

  • Update existing claims

  • Process reserves and payments

  • Update claims diary

  • Provide data reports

  • Compile weekly dashboards

  • Maintain Excel spreadsheets

  • Carry out sanctions and premium checks

  • Mailbox management

  • Bordereaux upload and mapping to Bordereaux Management System

  • Review and cleanse bordereaux claims data



What you require for the role 




  • Excellent Excel skills (including lookups & pivots)

  • Advanced numerical skills with good attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team

  • Flexibility to work within multiple platforms

  • Ability to productively leverage data and technology

  • Open, innovative and inclusive mindset

  • Collaborative spirit
