We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager for a leading nursing home in Co Tipperary, Ireland.

Responsibilities

Assume responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Nursing Home in the absence of the Home Manager, ensuring the effective operation of services.

Ensure compliance with all Company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and relevant legislation.

Lead and coordinate the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in accordance with best practice standards and NMBI guidelines.

Oversee the assessment, implementation, and regular review of resident care plans to ensure individual needs are met.

Supervise, support, and mentor nursing and care staff, fostering a positive and professional working environment.

Manage staff rostering and resource allocation to ensure appropriate staffing levels and continuity of care.

Monitor clinical standards, conduct audits, and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes.

Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, effectively managing incidents, risks, and corrective actions.

Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team, advocating for residents' rights, dignity, and preferences.

Promote continuous professional development by supporting the learning, training, and career progression of nursing staff and newly qualified nurses.

Requirements

Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).

Previous management or supervisory experience within a healthcare setting.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Genuine interest and commitment to working with the elderly and our client group.

Satisfactory Garda Vetting clearance.

Experience and/or a relevant qualification in Care of the Elderly.

Minimum of 2–3 years’ nursing experience in a Nursing Home setting in Ireland.
