We are Hiring Clinical Nurse Manager 2- Infusion Suite Oncology for our Hospital client in Dublin.









 Responsibilities 










  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Infusion Services Unit to ensure efficient and safe patient care.



  • Lead and supervise nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and clinical oversight.



  • Coordinate the administration of infusion therapies, including chemotherapy, biologics, blood products, iron infusions, and IV medications.



  • Ensure compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and evidence-based practice standards.



  • Monitor patient safety and quality of care, responding appropriately to adverse reactions and clinical emergencies.



  • Manage staff rostering, workload allocation, and resource utilization to maintain effective service delivery.



  • Promote staff education and professional development through training, mentoring, and performance management.



  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and governance activities to enhance service standards.



  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including consultants, pharmacists, and allied health professionals, to coordinate patient care.



  • Support service development and change management initiatives to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.







Requirements




  • Registered General Nurse with active registration on the live register maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).



  • A minimum of 5 years’ post-registration nursing experience within an acute hospital environment.



  • At least 2 years’ experience in a nursing leadership position, such as Clinical Nurse Manager I (CNM I), Acting Clinical Nurse Manager II (CNM II), or an equivalent supervisory role.



  • Substantial clinical experience in infusion services, oncology, haematology, gastroenterology, rheumatology, ambulatory care, or a closely related specialty area.



  • Evidence of continuous professional development and commitment to lifelong learning.



  • Excellent leadership, organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.




  • Proven ability to drive change, implement service improvements, and support the delivery of high-quality patient care.



  • A management qualification and/or postgraduate qualification in Nursing, Leadership, Oncology, Haematology, or a related specialty.



  • Previous experience working within a private healthcare setting.




  • Experience in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audit, accreditation standards, and governance processes.



  • Demonstrated competency in cannulation and the management of central venous access devices (CVADs).
