We are Hiring Clinical Nurse Specialist - Respiratory for our Hospital client in Dublin.

Responsibilities
Provide specialist nursing care and expert clinical support to patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and monitor patients' clinical progress.
Educate and support patients, families, and carers on respiratory disease management, medications, inhaler techniques, oxygen therapy, and lifestyle modifications.
Coordinate patient care across inpatient, outpatient, and community services to ensure continuity of care.
Promote evidence-based practice and ensure compliance with national guidelines, hospital policies, and professional standards.
Participate in respiratory clinics, ward rounds, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Support the early identification and management of respiratory deterioration and medical emergencies.
Provide clinical leadership, mentoring, and education to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of respiratory care pathways and clinical protocols.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, research, and service development projects.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure patient confidentiality always.
Requirements
Registered on the General Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Minimum 5 years of post-registration experience in an acute healthcare setting.
At least 2 years of specialist experience in Respiratory Nursing.
Hold a relevant Higher Diploma or an equivalent qualification in the specialty.
Minimum 1 year of management or leadership experience, with proven clinical and professional competence.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to ensure continuity of patient care and contribute to service development.
Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD), with a proactive, enthusiastic, and highly motivated approach to nursing practice.
