Cost Controller

Our client, a well-established business in the FMCG/Wholesale sector, is seeking a commercially focused Cost Controller to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional to play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and cost control while partnering with commercial and operational teams to drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
  


• Deliver insightful management reporting, KPI analysis and variance reporting.
  


• Monitor costs, identify savings opportunities and improve profitability.
  


• Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
  


• Develop financial models, forecasts and business cases.
  


• Support financial controls, process improvements and finance projects.
  

About You

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  


• 3+ years' experience in Cost Control, FP&A, Commercial Finance or Management Accounting.
  


• Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical and Excel skills.
  


• Experience working with senior stakeholders and presenting financial insights.
  


• FMCG, logistics or wholesale experience is an advantage.
  


• Experience with ERP systems and Power BI is desirable.
