CSA Civil Engineer

We are currently seeking a proactive CSA Engineer (Civil) to support logistics operations on a major construction project. This role will coordinate site deliveries, manage booking systems, manage logistics schedule and ensure efficient material flow in line with project requirements.

Reports to: Logisitics Manager

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed architectural and structural designs in collaboration with architects and engineers, using CAD or BIM software, ensuring adherence to building codes and project standards.
• Lead construction projects from initiation to completion, coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders  to meet schedules and budgets.
• Conduct site inspections, verify materials, and enforce high workmanship standards to meet approved specifications and quality objectives.
• Perform structural calculations, address technical challenges proactively, and implement solutions to mitigate onsite risks.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including as-built drawings, permits, technical reports, snag lists, and closure reports for regulatory and project compliance.
• efficient practices, green building methods, and innovative construction technologies into project plans for optimal performance
• Participate in site meetings and coordination sessions, ensuring clear communication with QA managers, subcontractors, and design teams for smooth project delivery.
•  Oversee daily construction activities, supervise material usage and installation, and enforce health and safety protocols to protect personnel and project infrastructure. 

• Background in Construction, or related discipline
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience working on large-scale construction projects
• Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience preferred for candidates within preconstruction teams
