Salary:  €15.00 per hour, with the potential for a higher rate depending on experience and suitability

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Deli Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a busy deli in Dundrum, Co. Tipperary. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated retail food professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation of the deli department.


• Lead, supervise, and support deli staff.


• Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained.


• Monitor food preparation, presentation, and quality standards.


• Maintain HACCP and food safety compliance at all times.


• Manage stock levels, ordering, and waste control.


• Drive sales and profitability through effective merchandising and promotions.


• Ensure the deli is clean, well-organised, and fully stocked.


• Train and develop team members to achieve high performance standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience managing or supervising a deli, food retail, or convenience food operation.


• Strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures.


• Excellent leadership and people management skills.


• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


• Customer-focused with strong communication skills.


• Good organisational and stock management abilities.


• Full driver's licence and own transport essential.


• Applicants must have previous deli and managerial experience. Only candidates who meet this requirement will be considered.
