About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Deli Team Leader to join our dynamic retail team. As a Deli Team Leader, you will be responsible for supporting the management team in overseeing day-to-day operations in the fresh department, ensuring smooth store performance, and leading a team to achieve sales and customer service targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• As Deli Team Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the deli, ensuring excellent customer service, high standards of food preparation, and compliance with HACCP and health and safety regulations.
  


• You will manage rotas, train and motivate the team, monitor stock levels, control waste, and maintain accurate records.
  


• The role also involves driving sales through merchandising and promotions while fostering a positive team environment to deliver an efficient and customer-focused service.
  

• The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a retail or food service environment, with a strong focus on customer service and team leadership.
  


• Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards is essential.
  


• You should be organised, reliable, and able to manage rotas, stock, and daily operations efficiently.
  


• Strong communication and people management skills are required, along with the ability to drive sales and maintain high standards under pressure.
  


• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, is also necessary.
