The Role

We are looking for an experienced Director of People & Culture to lead the people agenda within a prestigious hospitality environment.

Working closely with the General Manager and Senior Leadership Team, you will balance strategic leadership with a hands-on, operational approach, ensuring a high-performing culture and excellent colleague experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver the People & Culture strategy.
  


• Partner with senior leaders on people, performance and organisational matters.
  


• Lead recruitment, talent development, engagement and retention.
  


• Oversee employee relations and ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation.
  


• Drive leadership development and succession planning.
  


• Lead and develop the People & Culture team.
  


• Oversee reward, HR systems and people reporting.
  


• Champion colleague wellbeing and a positive workplace culture.
  

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a senior, commercially minded People leader with:

• Senior HR/People leadership experience within hospitality, hotels or another large service-led environment.
  


• Experience supporting a workforce of 300+ employees.
  


• Strong Irish employment law and employee relations expertise.
  


• Proven experience in leadership development, talent, engagement and performance.
  


• The credibility to influence at Senior Leadership level.
  


• A visible, hands-on and approachable leadership style.
  


• Strong commercial awareness and operational understanding.
  


• CIPD Level 7 or equivalent.
  

Experience within a 4★/5★ hotel or luxury hospitality environment would be highly desirable.
