Qualifications: Level 7+ strongly preferred

About the Roles

A small, welcoming early years service in County Cork — where children are truly at the heart of everything they do — is recruiting two full‑time Early Years Educators:

• 1 Full‑Time Educator for Creche (1–3 years)
• 1 Full‑Time Educator for Preschool (2–5 years)

These roles are ideal for passionate educators who value close‑knit teamwork, strong relationships with families, and a nurturing environment where children's interests guide daily learning.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum Level 7 qualification in Early Childhood Care & Education (Level 8 preferred)
• Experience working in an early years setting
• Strong understanding of Aistear and play‑based learning
• A warm, caring approach and genuine passion for supporting children's development
• Ability to work collaboratively in a small team and contribute to a positive, supportive atmosphere

About the Centre

This is a small, community‑focused service known for its welcoming atmosphere and child‑led approach. The centre offers:

• A nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged
• Play‑rich rooms with age‑appropriate materials for both creche and preschool groups
• A curriculum guided by children's interests and aligned with Aistear
• Daily opportunities for sensory play, arts & crafts, construction, outdoor exploration, role play, early literacy, numeracy, and social‑emotional development
• A strong commitment to building independence, confidence, and school readiness
